41
ﻭَﺍٰﻣِﻨُﻮْﺍ ﺑِﻤَﺎٓ ﺍَﻧْﺰَﻟْﺖُ ﻣُﺼَﺪِّﻗًﺎ ﻟِّﻤَﺎ ﻣَﻌَﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﻟَﺎ
ﺗَﻜُﻮْﻧُﻮْٓﺍ ﺍَﻭَّﻝَ ﻛَﺎﻓِﺮٍۢ ﺑِﻪٖ ۖ ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗَﺸْﺘَﺮُﻭْﺍ ﺑِﺎٰﻳٰﺘِﻲْ
ﺛَﻤَﻨًﺎ ﻗَﻠِﻴْﻠًﺎ ۖﻭَّﺍِﻳَّﺎﻱَ ﻓَﺎﺗَّﻘُﻮْﻥِ
wa āminụ bimā anzaltu muṣaddiqal limā
ma'akum wa lā takụnū awwala kāfirim bihī
wa lā tasytarụ bi`āyātī ṡamanang qalīlaw wa
iyyāya fattaqụn
And believe in what I have sent down,confirming what is with you,and be not the first to disbelieve in it.
Do not sell My revelations for a price,and fear Me only.
42
ﻭَﻟَﺎ ﺗَﻠْﺒِﺴُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖَّ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺒَﺎﻃِﻞِ ﻭَﺗَﻜْﺘُﻤُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖَّ
ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﺗَﻌْﻠَﻤُﻮْﻥَ
wa lā talbisul-ḥaqqa bil-bāṭili wa taktumul-
ḥaqqa wa antum ta'lamụn
And do not confuse truth with falsehood and (do not) hide the truth while you know it.
43
ﻭَﺍَﻗِﻴْﻤُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺼَّﻠٰﻮﺓَ ﻭَﺍٰﺗُﻮﺍ ﺍﻟﺰَّﻛٰﻮﺓَ ﻭَﺍﺭْﻛَﻌُﻮْﺍ ﻣَﻊَ
ﺍﻟﺮَّﺍﻛِﻌِﻴْﻦَ
wa aqīmuṣ-ṣalāta wa ātuz-zakāta warka'ụ
ma'ar-rāki'īn
And perform prayer,pay zakat,and bow down with those who bow down.
44
۞ ﺍَﺗَﺄْﻣُﺮُﻭْﻥَ ﺍﻟﻨَّﺎﺱَ ﺑِﺎﻟْﺒِﺮِّ ﻭَﺗَﻨْﺴَﻮْﻥَ ﺍَﻧْﻔُﺴَﻜُﻢْ
ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﺗَﺘْﻠُﻮْﻥَ ﺍﻟْﻜِﺘٰﺐَ ۗ ﺍَﻓَﻠَﺎ ﺗَﻌْﻘِﻠُﻮْﻥَ
a ta`murụnan-nāsa bil-birri wa tansauna
anfusakum wa antum tatlụnal-kitāb, a fa lā
ta'qilụn
Why do you tell others to do good,while you forget yourself,even though you read the Book (Torah)? Don't you understand?
45
ﻭَﺍﺳْﺘَﻌِﻴْﻨُﻮْﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟﺼَّﺒْﺮِ ﻭَﺍﻟﺼَّﻠٰﻮﺓِ ۗ ﻭَﺍِﻧَّﻬَﺎ ﻟَﻜَﺒِﻴْﺮَﺓٌ
ﺍِﻟَّﺎ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﺨٰﺸِﻌِﻴْﻦَۙ
wasta'īnụ biṣ-ṣabri waṣ-ṣalāh, wa innahā
lakabīratun illā 'alal-khāsyi'īn
And seek help (from Allah) with patience and prayer.
And it is hard,except for the humble,
46
ﺍﻟَّﺬِﻳْﻦَ ﻳَﻈُﻨُّﻮْﻥَ ﺍَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﻣُّﻠٰﻘُﻮْﺍ ﺭَﺑِّﻬِﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻧَّﻬُﻢْ ﺍِﻟَﻴْﻪِ
ﺭٰﺟِﻌُﻮْﻥَ
allażīna yaẓunnụna annahum mulāqụ
rabbihim wa annahum ilaihi rāji'ụn
(ie) those who believe,that they will meet their Lord,and that they will return to Him.
47
ﻳٰﺒَﻨِﻲْٓ ﺍِﺳْﺮَﺍۤﺀِﻳْﻞَ ﺍﺫْﻛُﺮُﻭْﺍ ﻧِﻌْﻤَﺘِﻲَ ﺍﻟَّﺘِﻲْٓ ﺍَﻧْﻌَﻤْﺖُ
ﻋَﻠَﻴْﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻧِّﻲْ ﻓَﻀَّﻠْﺘُﻜُﻢْ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟْﻌٰﻠَﻤِﻴْﻦَ
yā banī isrā`īlażkurụ ni'matiyallatī an'amtu
'alaikum wa annī faḍḍaltukum 'alal-'ālamīn
O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you,and I have preferred you above all other peoples in the world (at that time).
48
ﻭَﺍﺗَّﻘُﻮْﺍ ﻳَﻮْﻣًﺎ ﻟَّﺎ ﺗَﺠْﺰِﻱْ ﻧَﻔْﺲٌ ﻋَﻦْ ﻧَّﻔْﺲٍ
ﺷَﻴْـًٔﺎ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﻳُﻘْﺒَﻞُ ﻣِﻨْﻬَﺎ ﺷَﻔَﺎﻋَﺔٌ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﻳُﺆْﺧَﺬُ ﻣِﻨْﻬَﺎ
ﻋَﺪْﻝٌ ﻭَّﻟَﺎ ﻫُﻢْ ﻳُﻨْﺼَﺮُﻭْﻥَ
wattaqụ yaumal lā tajzī nafsun 'an nafsin
syai`aw wa lā yuqbalu min-hā syafā'atuw wa
lā yu`khażu min-hā 'adluw wa lā hum
yunṣarụn
And be afraid of the day,(when) no one will be able to defend anyone else in the slightest.
While intercession and any ransom from them will not be accepted and they will not be helped.
49
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﻧَﺠَّﻴْﻨٰﻜُﻢْ ﻣِّﻦْ ﺍٰﻝِ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﻳَﺴُﻮْﻣُﻮْﻧَﻜُﻢْ
ﺳُﻮْۤﺀَ ﺍﻟْﻌَﺬَﺍﺏِ ﻳُﺬَﺑِّﺤُﻮْﻥَ ﺍَﺑْﻨَﺎۤﺀَﻛُﻢْ
ﻭَﻳَﺴْﺘَﺤْﻴُﻮْﻥَ ﻧِﺴَﺎۤﺀَﻛُﻢْ ۗ ﻭَﻓِﻲْ ﺫٰﻟِﻜُﻢْ ﺑَﻠَﺎۤﺀٌ ﻣِّﻦْ
ﺭَّﺑِّﻜُﻢْ ﻋَﻈِﻴْﻢٌ
wa iż najjainākum min āli fir'auna
yasụmụnakum sū`al-'ażābi yużabbiḥụna
abnā`akum wa yastaḥyụna nisā`akum, wa fī
żālikum balā`um mir rabbikum 'aẓīm
And (remember) when We delivered you from (Pharaoh and) the followers of Pharaoh.
They inflicted a very severe punishment on you.
They slaughtered your sons and spared your daughters.
And in that was a great trial from your Lord.
50
ﻭَﺍِﺫْ ﻓَﺮَﻗْﻨَﺎ ﺑِﻜُﻢُ ﺍﻟْﺒَﺤْﺮَ ﻓَﺎَﻧْﺠَﻴْﻨٰﻜُﻢْ ﻭَﺍَﻏْﺮَﻗْﻨَﺎٓ
ﺍٰﻝَ ﻓِﺮْﻋَﻮْﻥَ ﻭَﺍَﻧْﺘُﻢْ ﺗَﻨْﻈُﺮُﻭْﻥَ
wa iż faraqnā bikumul-baḥra fa anjainākum
wa agraqnā āla fir'auna wa antum tanẓurụn
And (remember) when We split the sea for you,so that We could save you and We drowned (Pharaoh and) Pharaoh's followers,while you were watching.
